Thank you for contacting Sky Ink Studio for your next tattoo. I’m excited to help you get the piece you want and make the process as easy as I can for you. It is my goal to give you the highest quality art, at the most affordable price, with the least amount of hassle. Your tattoo project has been quoted by the piece, and estimated based on an hourly rate between $80.00 - $120.00/hr. This quote is based on a number of factors including complexity of the design, color and/or shading requirements, location on your body, size that was discussed in our prior conversations, and average time that I feel it will take me to complete. Please understand that any design or size changes made on the day of your tattoo may affect this final price. If the tattoo ends up taking longer due to my efforts, your quote does not change.
For most projects, final designs will be created in front of you on the day of your appointment in order for us to work together, utilize our time efficiently, and for you to see what you are getting. If your project is custom and requires design time ahead of your appointment, a design fee will be added at a rate of $60.00/hr. In most cases, this fee will also be a flat rate. Design fees are non-refundable, however they do count towards the final price of your tattoo. All quotes and design fees are non-negotiable.
Now that we’ve talked about your project, discussed a quote, and you have decided you want to move forward, the next step in the process is to collect a deposit and secure your spot on the appointment calendar. In order to prevent double booking and confusion as your tattoo date approaches, this is required for all projects, all clients, and your proposed appointment date cannot be guaranteed until it is received. I urge you to submit this this deposit as soon as possible to assure you get the date that was promised to you.
All deposits are $50.00 and will be applied to the final price of your tattoo.
Your deposit is fully refundable as long as you contact me and cancel outside 24 hours of the appointment date. If you are able to notify me sooner, please do, so that I am not left with an empty spot and no time to fill it. The preferred way to contact me is by text message at 480.360.2017
Need to reschedule? I understand that things come up and I am happy to work with you. Please contact me outside the 24 hour window, or at the earliest time possible, and I’ll do my best to get you into the earliest spot available. Your deposit will be applied to your new appointment date. Please be aware that reschedule dates are often a couple weeks out.
If you decide to cancel your appointment completely within the 24 hour window, or you do not show up for your appointment at all, unfortunately your deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to reschedule. At that time, only the new deposit will be credited to your tattoo. (This is to make up for efforts I have made to meet you, along with time that I could have filled the seat with another client.)
Please understand that due to the nature of this business, I must make every effort possible to assure my clients a clean and safe work environment. If you have a situation that arises due to the Covid-19 pandemic that requires you to cancel (whether it is inside the 24 hour window or not), please contact me immediately and we can figure out a plan of action. I address situations like this on a case by case basis.
